I completed my Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh. I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry and English Literature, graduating in the top 2% of my class and summa cum laude. I attended medical school at The Ohio State University, graduating first in my class and summa cum laude. I then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. I finalized my formal training with a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at State University of New York at Buffalo. I practiced as a hand and upper extremity surgeon from 2000 – 2021. I was a member of private practices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (2000 – 2006), Akron, Ohio (2007 – 2009), and Des Moines, Iowa (2010 – 2021).

After practicing for nearly 2 decades as a hand surgeon with the associated physical tolls, I became restless to learn a new field with new challenges. Following a long period of reflection, I took the leap into the aesthetics world! I initially attended an intensive aesthetics course with significant hands-on training in Phoenix, AZ in December 2018. I then opened Timeless Youth MD in February 2019. After some unexpected obstacles in 2019, Timeless Youth MD has been fully operating since January 2020.

I have diligently continued to learn about the amazing field of aesthetics, furthering my knowledge and learning from experienced practitioners. I take my continuing education in aesthetics very seriously. While in-person training was unavailable for a very long time related to the COVID pandemic, there was a silver lining of dozens of virtual opportunities becoming available, and I definitely took advantage of this virtual learning!
My outstanding skill set as a surgeon easily transfers into the area of aesthetics. I have given thousands of injections over the course of my career as a hand surgeon. I appreciate the immense importance of understanding anatomy as the basis of all procedures. I understand the importance of attention to detail, as I performed complex and intricate surgical procedures for over 25 years. I am meticulous about utilizing safety measures to optimize outcomes. Clean and sterile technique are truly second nature for me.
I am passionate about helping clients look and feel their best! I place a strong focus on education so that my clients may feel empowered to choose the services that best fit their goals and concerns. I strive to achieve beautiful and natural results, enhancing my clients’ beauty and providing rejuvenation for a more youthful appearance.
Outside of Timeless Youth MD, I have an amazing husband, two very busy daughters, and a golden retriever, and I love spending time with all of them. Since retiring from orthopaedics, I am focusing more on personal wellness. I was a collegiate gymnast and still love watching gymnastics. My husband and I are Ohio natives and still maintain our Ohio roots. Yes, we are diehard Buckeye fans!
